Giddy & Gold » Houston Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

Get ready for CUTE.

When Rachel booked me, she (or her mom) said they loved that all of the people I photograph look so HAPPY! This is hands-down, the best compliment I could ever receive. This is why I do what I do – capturing the giddy, documenting delight, helping couples remember the joy of this season. It’s so encouraging to know the photos I take reflect that sentiment so honestly!

So naturally, I immediately felt pressure to be sure they were happy and giggling in several pictures.:)I had ZERO reason to worry – it was effortless to get natural smiles and laughs out of these two! We met at Fernland Park in Montgomery for their session – along with about 55 families having their fall photos taken. Turned out to work in our favor – we got to reap the benefits of the bales of hay other photographers graciously set up and left behind! (Thanks friends!)

I love shooting a session and realizing – they feel like friends, not just clients! So down to earth, casual, and happy, I could totally have hung out with them the rest of the evening. Excited for your wedding, Rachel and David! Hope you love these photos!

Oh, Rebecca! All of the shots are fabulous! So glad we found you.

These are all fabulous! Such a great looking couple.

This sweet little family and I met up for session last weekend. Little Luke was great at looking at the camera! Getting him to smile…. that was another story. Let’s just say there was lots of jumping up and down, yelling weird noises and catching stares from other park-goers! Thankfully, I got him to laugh a couple of times and maybe my noise making made mom and dad laugh too.:)

Y’all were great – I so enjoyed chatting with y’all! One of the best parts of what I do – getting to know clients and learning about them! Hope you guys love these!

Kim and her boothang tied the knot this Saturday and had an absolute party! It was great for so many reasons, one of them being that I can finally share these bridal portraits! Why I’m obsessed with this session:

  • The Venue. Out in the middle of nowhere, Texas, is this beautiful historic train station that has been renovated and transformed into a gorgeous wedding venue.
  • Her Eyes. For real?! Gimme those.
  • The Dress. Champagne, lacy, a little bling = perfection. A dress I would wear in a heartbeat!

Congrats you two! Now let’s ooh and ah over Kim’s bridals!
